How do I clear my cache on Google chrome and Firefox?

If you are continually having trouble logging into the website, your saved web history may be interfering with you entering newer/different information. In these instances you may need to clear your web history. Follow the steps below for how to clear cache web history on google chrome and firefox

Caution: Clearing your browser history will remove ALL saved passwords and log-in information stored for other web pages including Audible. You will need to re-enter your saved log-in account information for other websites again if you decide to attempt this troubleshooting option. Clearing your browsing history will not affect any downloaded or stored files on your computer.

Google Chrome

  1. Click Browser toolbar, toolbar, menu, more tools, tools, browsingon the upper right of the browser toolbar.
  2. Click More tools.
  3. Click Clear browsing data.

  4. Place a checkmark in the following boxes:
    • Browsing history
    • Download history
    • Cookies and other site and plug-in data
    • Cached images and files
    • Hosted app data
    • Content licenses
  5. Select the beginning of time from the drop down menu.

  6. Click Clear browsing data.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click Open menu.open menu, menu, firefox
  2. Click History.
  3. Click Clear Recent History.
  4. Click the drop-down menu next to Time range to clear and select Everything.

  5. Place a checkmark next to the following options under Details:
    • Browsing & Download History
    • Cookies
    • Cache
    • Active Logins
    • Offline Website Data
    • Site Preferences
    • Click Clear Now.

    The window will close and the items you have selected will be cleared.

Internet Explorer

  1. Click the gear icon on the top right of the Internet Explorer window.

  2. Click Safety.
  3. Click Delete browsing history.

  4. Place a checkmark next to the following:
    • Temporary Internet files and Web site files
    • Cookies and Web site data
    • History
    • Tracking Protection, ActiveX Filtering and Do Not Track
  5. Click Delete.

  6. Once complete, you will receive a confirmation Internet Explorer has finished deleting the selected browsing history.
